Need to know

When journeying to Morocco, it's recommended to exchange some Moroccan Dirhams upon arrival for minor expenses and visits to local markets. While English is commonly spoken in tourist areas, a grasp of basic Arabic or French phrases can earn appreciation from locals. Given Morocco's varied climate, packing appropriately for the region's temperatures and potential weather changes is essential. Lastly, embracing local customs and demonstrating respect for Moroccan traditions enriches the overall travel experience.

Custom Regulation Morocco

The use of drones is currently prohibited in Morocco. Bringing one into the country without declaring will result in it being seized. To avoid any inconvenience, please declare your drone to customs upon entry. The drone will be held during your stay and can be retrieved before your departure. When entering Morocco, travelers are allowed personal items and souvenirs for their own use. Restrictions apply to tobacco, alcohol, and electronics. Permits are required for exporting antiques. It's advisable to check the current customs regulations before your trip.

... there was an unexpected sense of belonging that made the experience feel both foreign and familiar. Traveling with CrossAtlantTrip allowed us to explore Morocco’s beauty with ease, and every moment felt like an invitation to discover something truly special.

As we journeyed into the foothills of the Atlas Mountains and shared a communal lunch in a Berber family home, a remarkable sense of peace ensued. Surprisingly, a feeling of familiarity took hold, despite the contrast in cultures from the lives we lead in New York.
